Little is known and far less understood about Gene Perry, except that he sleeps during the day and plays music at night.  He's also active in the "rack mounted equipment of the month" club.  Tickling one set of ivories is never enough, so he stacks at least three sets of keyboards at all times and backs that up with racks of other equipment... much of it plugged in.

The hundreds of resulting buttons, dials and keys serve to keep Gene busy and largely out of trouble as he toils to create his signature sounds.
